Blessed Benedict Daswa

A South African teacher and family man, Benedict invested heavily in his community teaching as a catechist, coaching soccer, and helping generously in the home. Known for his faith and courage, he was martyred for refusing to compromise his Christian beliefs in the face of witchcraft.
