Blessed Frédéric Ozanam

While a law student, Frédéric and his friends hosted energetic debates on many topics, especially Catholic social teachings. When challenged to demonstrate what real good the Church was doing, Frédéric and some of his fellow students formed the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul to be a ministry to the poor. Frédéric became a professor, married, and served in the Society until his death.
